Youngblood's UNFILTERED

youngblood goes after Wall Street with two new plays in studio productions

SILVER TO A TRADING AGENT by Sharyn Rothstein
directed by Giovanna Sardelli+
featuring Steven Boyer*, Bill Cwikowski*+, Lucy DeVito*+, Richmond Hoxie*+, Ilene Kristen*+ and Patricia Randell*+
Catherine Murdoch, head of wealth management at one of the world's largest banks, has just been passed over for CEO in favor of charm-spewing Bill Enoch.  Catherine must choose whether to follow orders and play fast and loose with her clients' money, or challenge her new boss head on.  Wall Street, the economic meltdown, and the role of women in finance collide in a fast-paced look at the dirty choices that got us where we are today.

PERFORMANCES: February 10, 11, 12, 18 & 19 at 7pm on the Sixth Floor

and

microcrisis by Michael Lew
directed by Ralph Peña
featuring Jackie Chung*+, Graeme Gillis+, Jocelyn Kuritsky, Socorro Santiago*+, Godfrey Simmons* and Michael Louis Wells*+
A raucous comedy about the world's next financial crisis.  You've heard of "microcredit"?  The Nobel Peace Prize-winning concept of providing Third World entrepreneurs with small charitable loans to help alleviate global poverty?  microcrisis looks at what happens when a scheming investment banker exploits microcredit, lumps it into complex financial instruments, and ravages the global economy once again - and it all turns out hilarious.

PERFORMANCES: February 17, 20, 21, 25 & 26 at 7pm on the Sixth Floor

production stage manager: Eliza Jane Bowman
assistant stage manager: Flannery Spring-Robinson
furniture/props: Renee Williams
lights: Geoffrey Dunbar+
