Kyoung H. Park


KYOUNG H. PARK was born in Chile and raised by Korean immigrants.  He is the author of HOUSE OF SOL, HOUSE OF BUENDIA, HOUSE OF SONG, TWIN SISTERS (SCENES OF YOUTH IN TWO ACTS), SEX AND HUNGER, HEAVEN IS NOT-FOR-PROFIT and many short plays.  His work has been workshopped and/or developed at the Public, New Dramatists, Ma-Yi Theatre, Lark Play Development Center, and produced at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, Vital Theatre, Access Theatre, American Actors Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Source, etc…  Kyoung is a member of EST’s Youngblood and Ma-Yi Theater’s Writer’s Lab.  He is the recipient of a 2004 Edward Albee Playwriting fellowship and holds his BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Kyoung is currently on a working hiatus from Youngblood, as he is attending graduate school for Peace Studies in Seoul, Korea.
