Courtney Brooke Lauria
Courtney currently resides in Astoria, NY. Her work has been performed and workshopped at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Brick, The Kraine Theater, New York Stage and Film/Vassar College, and The American Theater for Actors. Her one-act play On The Surface was a finalist in the Samuel French Short Play Festival for 2007. She is the co-artistic director of the Dirt Theater Company and is entering her fourth year as a member of Ensemble Studio Theater’s writing collective, Youngblood. This fall, Courtney’s full-length play Four Years Apart is being performed at The Bridge Theater. She will also be collaborating with Matt Schatz to extend Co-Op into a full-length musical after its successful spring run at Ensemble Studio Theater.
