Anna Kerrigan received her BA in Drama from Stanford
University in 2004. At Stanford, Anna wrote, directed and produced
short films and plays. She received University’s Robert Golden
Medal Award for best thesis her three-act thesis production The
Poor, which she wrote under the mentorship of Artist-in-Residence
Cherrie Moraga.
Since moving to New York, Anna has worked on a range
of films and developed her own plays and screenplays. In 2006, she
attended the Williamstown Theater Festival, where she directed a
number of original plays including Small Talk.
While there she also assisted Obie-Award winning director Alex Timbers.
In 2007, Anna founded Jack Fish Films through which she produces
both theatrical performances and the web series The Anna and
Phoebe Show. A mix of actors and non-actors, the show is a
hybrid of actual interviews and semi-improvised comic dialogue.
Currently, Anna is fundraising for her first feature, a low budget
film entitled Roost she wrote and will direct in
May 2010 in Stockbridge, Massachusetts (Associate Producer John
Lithgow). She currently works as a production coordinator for an
autopsy show on Discovery Health.
