Jihan Crowther


Jihan Crowther is a graduate of the MA Writing for Performance program at the University of London – Goldsmiths College. She received her BA in English at James Madison University in Virginia. Her work has been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Festival in Scotland, Theatre 503, The Oval Theatre and The Space in London. Her play THE GAME OF DYING received a staged reading at The Actors Centre in association with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her screenplays TAPESTRY and HOW TO BE A GIRL reached the final round of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Her screenplay, BUYING THE FARM, with writing partner Jennifer Abu Hollander is currently in development at Pop Rox Films. Recently, she served as Script Editor and provided additional dialogue for the short film THE GOODBYE GIRLS which was screened at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. Jihan is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Youngblood and is the current Visiting Writer for Cheeky Maggot Productions in London.
